An annual event for the Orang asli in Carey Island to celebrate and perform prayers to their beloved ancestors. It is also a time for them to ask for forgiveness and prosperity. Carey Island is located northwest of Morib, across the sea of Port Klang. Comprises largely is also home to the Man Meri, an aboriginal tribe renowned for their traditional woodcarvings, depicting their ancestral spirits or 'moyang'. This tribe has kept the legends of their ancestors alive through these figurines and story-telling.
